We heard you on your desire to bring guests to the House in the best neighborly way, and in 2018 we redefined our Guest Policy from its original format to reflect that feedback.
We define a guest as a friend, family member, client or other business-related person that you invite into the space on a one-off basis. Coworkers, interns or anyone that will be using the space regularly and indepedently is not a guest, and needs to instead be signed on as a member.
As always, short visits, tours and drop-bys (less than one hour) are happily encouraged and unlimited at all membership levels. To respect your Housemates, limit any groups to no more than 3-plus-you at one time and keep the noise at an appropriate level.
For visits and work sessions longer than that, guests must either have a guest pass ($15 per day) or be
booked into the meeting room or front studio.
If you have an office or dedicated desk, guest time is unlimited when working in your space – but see note above as to what defines a guest vs. a member. (We can’t afford to provide continual resources for unpaid members, and it’s not good neighbor behavior.) Associates can be added to workspace or office plans for $100 per month.
All members will receive one guest pass per membership month – and we encourage their use! House Crew will check in your guests and let you know that the pass is being used.
In all cases, guests need to be with you at all times and not using the space independently.
