We’re big believers in the power of event-based marketing and like-minded networking for small businesses, and we focus on providing physical space for creatives of all kinds to make connections, find new audiences, generate visual content and create buzz around their craft. To embrace this mission during downtown Lake Worth’s Street Painting Festival, we’re looking for up to ten artists to participate in a pop-up gallery exhibition during the week of the festival (Monday, Feb 20 – Sunday, Feb 26): Share your work, promote yourself as an artist, and add an exhibition to your résumé.
In addition to the House being open over the weekend of the festival, there will be several opportunities for the public to view the exhibition throughout the week: during our regular coworking monthly Open House on Tuesday, and at an opening reception on Thursday night. Artists are invited, but not required, to be present for our schedule of events. We’ll also be providing promotion of the artists and their selected work online and through our popular social media channels. Finally, participating artists will have member-level access to Social House to use as their home base during the weekend’s festivities.
To submit for consideration, artists should email firstname.lastname@example.org and include the following information:
1) Name, contact info, short artist bio, and link to website/online portfolio if available
2) Pictures (attach or link) of artwork being submitted for consideration. You can submit up to 3 entries; 1 will be selected.
