Event Venue Rental Info
While Social House is primarily a membership-based space for creatives, we also function occasionally as a private event venue at night and on the weekends. Hosting intimate weddings, rehearsal dinners, showers, corporate events, exhibitions, pop-ups and other social goodness, our combined indoor/outdoor space has an easy flow and a cozy bar/restaurant/garden feel.
Seated meals inside: 30
Cocktail-style inside: 50
Seated meals outside: 80 (additional tent rental required)
Cocktail-style outside: 120 (additional tent rental required over 50)
Cocktail-style happy hours + small parties under 50 guests: $500 site fee or $40+pp with in-house catering; $1,000 min.
Seated meal parties: $1,500 to $4,000 site fee (tent, catering + rentals additional)
Larger events and/or weddings: $2,500 to $4,000 site fee (tent, catering + rentals additional, Saturday + Sunday only)
Please note that we've found the minimum possible budget for a wedding reception in our space to be $13,000+.
We work with an exclusive list of caterers, bartenders, rental companies and tent providers, with approval required for all other vendors working onsite in our space (they are all required to carry commercial general liability insurance). Sophisticated and cozy, the Sidebar at Social House can host seated events up to 30, or standing cocktail events of up to 50 indoors, with fully opening glass doors opening onto a tree-shaded and brick-paved front patio. A mexican tile front bar takes center stage, while a soaring exposed beam ceiling and rustic wood floors round out the design. The Sidebar is available for both daytime and nighttime events.
For larger events, or when an additional room is needed for flow, the Studio is 965 square feet and connected to the Sidebar by french doors. It's an open loft-like space with the same rustic wood floors and exposed beams, and can handle 60 seated guests for a meal, 100 for a ceremony, or 120 standing for a cocktail reception when combined with our Sidebar.
The back garden is 2,000 square feet of private urban oasis, surrounded by hedges and finished with grass bordered pavers. It's perfect for outdoor ceremonies, laid-back Sunday brunches, or dinner beneath a gorgeous Sperry Tent. The back garden accommodates 80 guests seated for a meal, or 120 cocktail-style with partial seating.
The most valuable asset in the House is our talented in-house list of event pros. From photographers to planners, florists and bakers, our members deliver the same level of style and creativity that you'll love about Social House.
We have also formed relationships with a selection of offsite pros we trust, and will consider additional vendors as your needs require. In order to ensure the success, style and ease of each event we host, we work exclusively with our approved caterers, rental companies, and tent provider. All other vendors must be approved by the management team before working in our space.
